Popular Malaysian singer-songwriter Hael Husaini has opted to remain silent on circulating claims about his alleged marriage to fellow vocalist Dayang Nurfaizah, while extending an apology to the media for not addressing questions related to his personal life.
Speaking during the launch of the Amber Raya 2026 collection at Glasshouse Seputeh in Kuala Lumpur, the 39-year-old artiste stressed that his attendance at the event was strictly to support the fashion initiative and honour his agreement with organisers.
“I apologise for not being able to respond to questions about that issue. Today, I hope we can give full attention to the Amber project and respect the purpose of this event,” he said briefly when approached by reporters.
Online chatter intensified recently after photographs showing Hael and Dayang wearing white attire surfaced on social platforms, triggering speculation among fans that the two performers had secretly tied the knot.
The pair, widely recognised for their successful duet Haram have long been viewed by admirers as having a special bond. Their close friendship and comfortable on-stage dynamic have fuelled persistent assumptions about a possible romantic relationship.
Many supporters have expressed approval of the duo’s perceived closeness, often sharing hopes that the singers would eventually formalise their relationship. However, Hael has continued to keep details about his private affairs confidential.
In a previous interview last April, Hael disclosed that he was no longer single and hinted at the possibility of settling down in the future, though he declined to reveal further information at the time.
Despite recurring rumours linking him romantically with Dayang, Hael whose full name is Hal Husaini Razmi, has consistently maintained professionalism in both his public appearances and collaborations, choosing to let his work speak for itself while keeping personal matters away from the spotlight.
