Muay Thai fans will be in for a special treat this weekend as world champion, Superbon Singha Mawynn and Malaysia’s rising star, Johan Ghazali are set to conduct an exclusive seminar in conjunction with the Warrior Province International Muay Thai Championship 2.0 (WPIMC 2.0) at Stadium Titiwangsa this Sunday.
The seminar is expected to offer a rare opportunity for enthusiasts and practitioners to learn directly from two renowned figures who are currently at the peak of their careers.
Pahlawan Muay Thai president and WPIMC 2.0 organiser, Muhammad Faizol said the presence of both high-profile athletes would elevate the overall experience for participants.
“Superbon is a highly respected world champion, while Jojo is Malaysia’s leading prospect on the ONE Championship stage. They are not merely meeting fans; they are genuinely committed to sharing modern Muay Thai knowledge and techniques,” he said in a statement.
He added that WPIMC 2.0 will not only feature the seminar but also showcase one of the most anticipated fight cards since the championship was introduced.
“This edition brings together some of the best local athletes, and we can expect an electric atmosphere at Stadium Titiwangsa,” he said, adding that the event is organised in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Heritage (MOTAC) and several sponsors.
National football legend, Safee Sali is also scheduled to attend as a special guest, further adding to the excitement of the second edition of WPIMC, which will also see the launch of an anti-bullying campaign.
“Safee has always been a strong supporter of grassroots sports development. His presence will undoubtedly motivate the competing athletes,” Faizol added.
WPIMC 2.0 is expected to draw hundreds of spectators eager to experience the combination of a world-class seminar and high-calibre Muay Thai bouts, making it one of the most significant Muay Thai events of the year.
