Why is it important for all of us to make our homes as comfortable as possible? The reason is simple, as it is in our homes that most of our time is spent in a day, and everyone must therefore strive to make the home comfortable and conducive in order to live.

By beautifying our homes, by giving thought and consideration, and in simple creative ways our homes can be like the saying goes “Rumah Ku, Syurga Ku,” or my home, my haven where people can live in bliss.

The need to have comfortable homes must be augmented by the display of love and care among those who live under the same roof and not only must homes be physically comfortable, people living in these homes must create a pleasant atmosphere at home.

Moreover, ever since the Covid-19 Pandemic struck, and also because of climate change, most workers work from home and this is going to be the trend in future and, this is the reason, why all the more, effort must be put in to create livable homes.

Such homes make the need to go outdoors only necessary if there are reasons and purposes and, all the while, the emphasis is on indoor living which means everyone living in a home must contribute to its wellness and wellbeing.

Malaysians must, therefore, from now on, give serious thought and consideration when occupying a home, whether it is owner-occupied or rented, as there must be planning and ways and means devised to factor for the future.
