There is this widespread belief and sentiment, in fact a worldwide phenomenon by people all over the world, that when a person dies, he or she takes nothing with them to their graves, having to leave it all behind to next-of-kins.

If this is true, then why do nearly everybody get up in the morning and rush off for work or business to make as much money as they can, knowing full well they cannot take it with them when they go into the afterlife?

While this may be considered a mystery or puzzle in life, it is also perfectly understandable, that though you cannot take anything with you into the next world, especially money, there are things of value a person can take with them into the hereafter.

Every person who lives on this earth eventually leaves a legacy of love in life, and upon dying it is what was done for themselves, their families and others, the activities and accomplishments done that live on while a person goes to their grave.

Meanwhile, the knowledge, the learning and understanding of this life is taken to the next world, which means that while on one hand the legacy of ours is left behind, in another vein, the experiences, learning and understanding of this life lives on in perpetuity.

This is why to play it safe, build your legacies in this world and the next as this should really be the ultimate focus as there is no knowing when our last breath is made, but there is that assurance that, until the last day of our life, our dual legacies are intact.
