There are songs in the entertainment industry, often waxing lyrical of how money has a way of flying off from you, though there may be serious efforts and attempts made by us to try to hopelessly cling on to it or to multiply it.

Are you one of those who have experienced or encountered this phenomena? The reason your money and wealth vanished may be traced to the possibility that the means used in creating this prosperity was dubious and unethical.

This results in the earnings having little or no value and this is why doing meaningful work is important, and also there must be the necessity by all of us in work or business to be diligent and industrious that our earnings can have value and will stick with us for a lifetime.

But while having money and creating wealth is important, it should be secondary. The important thing is to develop talents, skills and abilities as they are a better option than to rely on a pile of money or created wealth.

The lesson to be learnt is that by having knowledge and skills and abilities, it can always be relied on to generate an income for us, like plying a trade or being in a vocation or engaging in certain activities that are of monetary value.

By arming ourselves and equipping ourselves with knowledge and information, by possessing and polishing our skills, a much higher Quality-of-Life can be assured to us and also a more secure and stable future.
