Much acclaimed author, the late Han Suyin, wrote a book with the title, “Love is a many splendored thing,” which reverberates of nothing but the sheer idealism and emotion-high charge people get from being in love.

Not only did it remain a book, but it was turned into a movie, and a hit song on the same title evolved, and the world became an oyster for Suyin who did not look back since writing her best selling book.

But don’t fall in love. What happens to a person when they fall, they only hurt themselves. So, instead of falling in love and hurting yourself, learn instead to grow in love which should provide a person with endless possibilities.

While being in love is a beautiful and gratifying experience, it is important to understand that hate is only a step away from love and therefore in the time and space of being in love, a person must be on guard and vigilant and not get carried away.

Keep love practical in nature so that it might sustain you and the people you love for a better outcome. This way much can be gained as the build up of loving relationships grows and is strengthened from time to time.

By being prudent and watchful, by contending always for your love, there is that every possibility to grow, develop and mature a relationship to bring benefits to all parties engaged in the activity of giving love and receiving love.
