Needless to say, this sport brings people together and unifies them as a singular human race, regardless of their race, religion or nationality, and offers everyone the opportunity to savour top flight football.

This is what happens every four years as football binds people and makes them forget about fighting in wars, their daily problems and other worries as they enjoy what football legend, the late Pele described as “the beautiful game.”

The football World Cup can also be simply described as an awesome time for people, as they watch each match progress right up to the epic final game where the winner would be crowned and go down in the annals of history.

Focusing on international football, and promoting other sports and games, can raise the friendship bar since these sports and games help build bridges and tear down the walls of distrust and suspicion, as these games unite the people of the world.
