Living a strategic and seamless life

In his highly-acclaimed book, ‘The mind of a strategist’, Kenichi Ohmae pointedly notes the importance of making strategic moves in the corporate world to prosper and also in the activities and functions of daily life.

Besides this, also of paramount importance, is ‘The seamless living’, a best selling book by author Steven Garber, and if anyone cares to study, by combining the narratives of these two very powerful books, you have the recipe for a successful life.

By strategising, it would lead a person to live seamlessly, and in this era of, by now, full globalization, those who stand to profit and gain use the bulwark of strategy to bring about the ability to live seamlessly.

Why strategise, isn’t it being crafty? This is a good question and the answer is that the now complete and full thrust of globalization has created a New World Order, which in Malaysia is termed as the New Normal, which demands us to strategise.

Those who plan and strategize are also expectedly those who prosper and thrive in this New Normal. There should be no time for wishful thinking, sentimentalism and nostalgia for the previous world order.

Actually, by looking forward and going fully into strategizing and seamless living, there is the every possibility of embracing profound change, as people become better by leaving the bitter past behind them to live reborn lives or encounter ‘kelahiran semula’.
