When an Iranian greets a person, they usually use the salutation ‘Salam,” which means peace, and when an Israeli greets a person, they use the greeting ‘Shalom,’ which also means peace, yet what on earth are the Iranians and Israelis doing by waging war?
Where is the peace greeting? The intention is sincere and genuine by both Iranian and Israeli wishing and greeting people peace, but in reality, this is nothing more than hypocrisy as the people of both these countries engage in war.
This has to be pointed out to them – there are no real winners in a war, and it is best for these two countries to cease all hostilities and attacks against each other in order to pave the way for peace talks.
This is also the wish and request of billions of people of different countries, faiths and religions who are making pleas and offering prayers to their respective Gods for real peace to descend once more upon this earth.
Pleas and peace offerings around the world
The Israeli-Iran war has implicated the Americans and the countries of the Middle East and, if there is no attempt made to halt this war, it would exacerbate and begin to involve more nations from around the world.
Already, by witnessing discussion and debates on the Israeli-Iranian war, it is possible to witness a lot of hate and spite and resentment which does not augur well for the wellbeing of the people of this world.
Most people want peace, they want both the Israelis and Iranians to disarm themselves and sit and negotiate a peaceful settlement to this war, which is hugely possible, if the warring parties back down and soften their stance.
In this direction, pleas are being made and prayers for peace are being offered by people of all walks of life, of all races and religions, of all nationalities who have indirectly been united and have come together to promote peace and goodwill.
Heed the pleas and prayers of people of the world
Coming all too soon in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic which ravaged the world, the Israel-Iran war has also caused a lot of disruption and chaos and confusion to the supply of essential goods and services.
This has sparked an energy crisis and pushed up the oil prices causing, in turn, steep hikes in the cost of goods and services in nearly all countries around the world which is inflicting much suffering, hardship and pain on people.
This is why there is that urgent call to disarmament in the Israel-Iran war, as to escalate the war, it would create a chain reaction and therefore this foolish battle between the fighting countries must immediately cease.
The pleas and prayers being made by the various groups, communities and nations are of real and intense necessity to ensure that there is a restoration to world peace and people of all nations can once more move on with their lives.
