Malaysia is a parliamentary democracy with a head of state, which is His Majesty the Yang Di Pertuan Agong, and a head of government, which is the prime minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim at present.

The roles these two Malaysian leaders play are constitutionally separate.and distinct. However, in recent times, the King and Malay Rulers have had no choice but to intervene in affairs of the executive, otherwise this country would go into a tailspin.

There are Malaysians who question and complain and murmur over the King taking matters into his own hands, especially from a few legal experts, but these people must realise this is being done for the good of the rakyat and the country.

The counsel of the King and Malay Rulers have always been well-received. They are knowledgeable and wise, fair and just, and are learned, and they are being ably assisted by a slew of advisers and experts all over the country.

It is necessary for the King to decide on the appointment of the next MACC Chief Commissioner as allegations of corruption, cronyism, nepotism and collusion are rife within MACC and other law enforcement agencies

Besides this, many politicians, government ministries, departments and agencies have failed to uphold integrity and honesty, and are guilty of betraying the trust of the rakyat by creating not just a corporate mafia, but a deep state in Malaysia.
