Valentine’s Day and the tales and stories of love

Have you found love? If you have, cherish and savour it for a lifetime as finding true love in this modern world of ours has eluded many, especially the younger generation who need lessons from senior couples who remain happily married for a lifetime.

The day of love on the annual calendar is February 14 which is better known as Valentine’s Day. But love should not be restricted to just this one day but to every day and every moment of a person’s lifetime.

Finding love is finding happiness. But don’t ‘fall in love’ as when a person falls he or she will hurt themselves. Instead couples should learn to grow in love and respect and care for each other as this is the right and proper thing to do.

Regardless of age, cupid strikes its arrow at people of all ages, all walks of life, faiths and beliefs and nationalities and no one knows for sure when this would happen but when it happens it happens and there is no stopping it.

While, like author Han Suyin declares: “Love is a many splendoured thing,” there are those whose bliss did not last long or turned sour, shattering all their dreams and therefore when in love there should be no illusions as well.

If you find love, wherever you find it, you are to be considered blessed and fortunate and a person who finds love must grow it and keep on growing it for the rest of their lifetime which is possible by the many successful love stories in this world.
