Biduanita Negara (National Songstress) Dato’ Sri Siti Nurhaliza, Indonesian music legend Dato’ Sri Rossa, and Star Planet Managing Director Dato’ Alan Foo led the distinguished list of recipients at the Top Asia Corporate Ball 2025, an event organised by Research House of Asia and RHA Media held in Kuala Lumpur recently.

Siti Nurhaliza was named the recipient of the “Asia Legendary Lifetime Achievement Award”, while Rossa was honoured as “Asia Legendary Music Icon”. Completing the trio was Alan Foo, who received the “ASEAN Personality of the Year Award 2025”, recognising their unparalleled contributions in elevating the regional music and entertainment industries over the decades.

According to RHA Media’s Managing Editor, Lee Seng Chee, the accolades represent the organisation’s highest tribute to artistic excellence and cultural impact.

“These awards honour figures whose influence not only shaped the creative landscape but also strengthened Malaysia and Indonesia’s presence on the global stage,” he said.

He highlighted Siti Nurhaliza’s extraordinary legacy as one of Malaysia’s most successful and influential recording artists, with more than six million albums sold and over 300 awards throughout her illustrious career.

“Known as The Voice of Asia, she continues to captivate listeners with performances in multiple languages and has been recognised by global platforms such as Spotify, MTV Asia and Channel V. She also holds the record for the highest-attended concert in Kuala Lumpur for more than 15 years,” Seng Chee added.

Rossa, fondly celebrated as Indonesia’s Queen of Pop, was also recognised for her enduring impact spanning over two decades.

“With more than three million monthly listeners on Spotify, her emotive vocals, artistic evolution and cultural resonance make her an inspiration to emerging talent and a cross-generational icon,” he said.

Meanwhile, Alan Foo was honoured for his role in shaping Southeast Asia’s modern entertainment landscape. As the visionary behind Star Planet’s major concerts and international productions, his leadership has been instrumental in elevating regional event standards and expanding the live entertainment ecosystem.

Beyond individual achievements, the Top Asia Corporate Ball 2025 also celebrated excellence in tourism across the region—recognising Indonesia as “Asia’s Top Country for Romantic Getaways” and Kazakhstan as “Asia’s Must-Go-To Country for Nature & Adventure Tourism”. Leading Malaysian corporations such as KPS Berhad, BSN, Tune Protect Group Berhad and AEON Credit Service (M) Berhad were also acknowledged for their outstanding corporate contributions.

The gala, attended by around 500 top executives, industry leaders and cultural icons, once again affirmed its standing as one of Asia’s most prominent platforms for celebrating excellence and inspiring future leadership. The event was graced by the royal presence of HRH Paduka Puteri Tunku Mariamz binti Al-Marhum Sultan Iskandar and senior representative of Tourism Malaysia.
