After a hard week of work, and the weekend looms, many workers opt to unwind at karaoke bars and sing and enjoy to their heart’s content in a bid to wear away their stress and tension and rejuvenate themselves.

Singing at a decent karaoke outlet, minus the hanky panky, is something that should be encouraged for workers of all levels as it is a way of priming a person to have the motivation to keep going in his vocation.

Not only karaoke bars and outlets, you can sing in the bathroom while having a shower and also feel the stress going away and this form of activity is suited for all ages to sing along on the box with their favourite singers.

Whether English songs, Bollywood blockbusters, Cantopop, Korean hits, crooning along with P. Ramlee or dangdut, what unfolds is that the singing brings healing to our emotions and helps revive us or pep us up.

Singing is a form of expression of the deep feelings inside of us that are hard to express, it is soulish, which means it connects our emotions, will and intellect and body, soul and spirit to live in ease, peace and comfort.

Who knows? Perhaps in the course of singing, a talent scout might spot us and give us a future as a singer and the rest becomes history. It has happened to a number of people and if you don’t get spotted just sing for the fun and enjoyment.
