Singer and actress, Elyana has resumed chemotherapy sessions as part of her ongoing battle with lymphoma, marking what she describes as a new phase in her health journey.

Elyana, whose real name is Erneelya Elyana Emrizal, 38, shared the update through a video posted on Instagram, showing her lying on a hospital bed with a needle and medication tube attached to her hand.

“Chemotherapy. My new era,” she wrote in the caption, appearing cheerful as she sang along to a tune despite undergoing the procedure.

The mother of two also posted several InstaStory updates about changes in her daily routine, revealing that she had been waking up repeatedly at night due to discomfort.

“Woke up at 3am, then 4am, then 5am. I couldn’t sleep; my body felt like it was filled with wind. They’ve just inserted a ‘control lock’ for the gas-relief medication. My stomach is bloated and hard. My body feels uncomfortable, like someone needs to press the left side of my back,” she shared, adding that she had applied medicated oil to ease the discomfort.

Her latest update drew an outpouring of support from followers, with many flooding the comments section with words of encouragement and prayers for her continued strength.

Some described Elyana as a resilient cancer fighter and expressed hope that she would regain her health fully in time to come.

Two years ago, Elyana announced that she had been declared cancer-free after battling lymphoma for more than 11 years. She had previously revealed her Stage Four lymphoma diagnosis during her participation in the reality programme Gegar Vaganza in 2017.

Elyana married businessman, Khairul Anuar Husin in 2010. The couple has a daughter, Cinta Sumayyah and an adopted child, Cahaya Ramadhani.
