Arguably it is the accident, emergency and trauma room where a hospital has to pay particular attention to patients as they enter to seek treatment for their ailments which may be mostly critical cases.

Hospitals are now trying to portend themselves as one stop-centers for all kinds of sicknesses and diseases, and by taking on this role, they have confused the general public who wish for emergency, trauma and accident cases to be left as it is.

While profit wise it makes sense for a hospital to pass off as a one stop centre, in the long run it defeats the purpose of having a specific area demarcated for accident and emergency response to the general public.

Other critics of the public and private health care system contend that they have become too costly, especially private healthcare which many ordinary people consider to have become an avaricious business.

it is pointless to argue if the skills of a surgeon or doctor is so highly prized that he has to have his or her way in billing a patient such an astronomical bill that people wonder when self-control and restraint is going to set in.

But for those with the big bucks private care is the order of the day for them but as to how it differs from public care is anyone’s guess but what people are shaking their heads at is the disparity in payment.
