Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy S25 FE in Malaysia, positioning the device as an accessible entry point into its AI-driven flagship ecosystem. The announcement comes ahead of aggressive promotional campaigns across the region.
With 8 GB of RAM and storage options of 256 GB and 512 GB, the Galaxy S25 FE is priced at RM 3,099 and RM 3,699 respectively. To sweeten the deal, Samsung Malaysia is running rebates of up to RM 850 and double-storage upgrade incentives through 19 October 2025.
Early bird buyers who reserved the device with RM 50 could bring the 256 GB variant down to RM 2,849. A bundle discount also lets users grab the Galaxy Buds3 FE for RM 349 if purchased alongside the S25 FE or Tab S11 series.
Samsung describes the S25 FE as a ‘gateway’ into its broader Galaxy AI ecosystem. It incorporates advanced tools like Generative Edit, Instant Slow-mo, Audio Eraser, Now Brief, and others, powered by both on-device neural processing and cloud support via Google’s Gemini system.
The 12 MP front camera, backed by Samsung’s AI-enhanced ProVisual Engine, promises improved selfie and video experiences. Under the hood, the device offers a 4,900 mAh battery, 45 W wired charging, and a vapor chamber design for thermal control.
On the software front, the phone ships with One UI 8 / Android 15, an interface that further broadens AI integration across Samsung’s device portfolio.
Significantly, Samsung has confirmed that core Galaxy AI features—such as translation, editing, and smart suggestions—will remain free indefinitely, dispelling earlier speculation of possible fees after 2025.
Industry observers view the Galaxy S25 FE as Samsung’s strategic move to democratize premium AI experiences, enabling users to enjoy flagship-grade features without the flagship price. As competition from rivals intensifies, the success of this ‘value flagship’ could determine how Samsung scales its AI platform across a broader user base.
