If current data and trends are to be evaluated, the United States is arguably still the World’s Number One superpower, with China playing bridesmaid, and India logging into, for the present, the third pole position.

But this sequence based on independent analysts and forecasts is set to change in the coming decades with the subcontinent of India leapfrogging the United States and China to spearhead the world in a complete reversal of the equation of power.

The reason for this bold prediction is based on the current economic and geopolitical situation, which is witnessing an implosion in America, and the saturation of the economy in China, while India still holds untapped potential and promise.

Other factors favoring India is their approach in vying for world peace though there is a large underlying Hindutva cause which they need to quieten down or silence for them to take over the reins of power to lead the world.

Not only independent analysts but other experts and captains of industry and world politicians are joining hands and speaking in unison of seeing India play a more formidable role on the global scene and to come out of the shadows.

While all points to India growing and prospering, besides the United States and China, there are other countries waiting in the wings, like the Asian tigers, who are pursuing their own lofty ambitions to make their mark on the world stage.
