Malaysia is a food lover’s paradise and there is a very wide range of mouth-watering food and beverages for people to choose from in this country and there are stalls, eateries, restaurants all over the country.
Even most visitors and foreign tourists comment about the wide range and choices of food and drinks available, not only local offerings, but also a lot of foreign dishes, cuisines and drinks to boot.
While there are increasing complaints over the prices of food and drinks being high, nevertheless, there seem to be no signs of a drop in the number of patrons visiting their favourite kopitiam for a cuppa.
But Malaysians should be careful not to indulge. They should wake up and learn to eat just to live and not go overboard by living to eat as the wide tasty and delicious food and drinks are a temptation to binge for them.
The end result of all these gorgeous food and drinks is that it is turning a growing number of Malaysians to suffer from obesity and subsequently they encounter health problems that are a direct result of over-indulging.
Since Malaysians are spoilt for choice over food and drinks, it will be prudent and wise if they take the wide availability of these edibles and drinkables in their stride and accordingly consume food and drinks in moderation just to enjoy themselves.
