More and more Malaysians are now beginning to plead for compassion and mercy from the MADANI government as their backs are burdened by much oppression and suppression owing to a number of factors.
While a number of political leaders cynically exhort Malaysians to ‘senyum walaupun beban berat’ (smile though your burdens are heavy), it has now come to the stage of unbearability and this is why many Malaysians seek necessary respite.
While it is not easy settling bread-and-butter issues, there are those especially fresh graduates who find getting suitable employment in the field of their training and qualification difficult as job opportunities are virtually non-existent.
The untold suffering inflicted on many Malaysians by the government, the elite and the powers-that-be in this country is beginning to take its toll, especially on those who are categorised as belonging to the B40 and M40 groups.
The most scathing complaint in overtones of bitterness by Malaysians is their lamentation and failure to understand why the wealth of the nation is not equitably being distributed and they have to scrape the bottom of the barrel everyday.
This drawback has caused a feeling of despair and hopelessness among the rakyat and they wonder when they will be able to breathe a sigh of relief because they are not asking for much other than their basic necessities being fulfilled.
