How and when to be angry?

Anger management is suggested to be a separate course of study in schools, colleges, universities, the private and public sector, as a growing number of Malaysians are prone to venting their anger, rage, and frustration openly in public.

In everyday life, in public, especially on the road, it is common for rage and anger to be expressed by motorists and there is little patience or tolerance exercised even towards children, women, seniors and the elderly.

Are Malaysians displaying psychotic features openly in response to critical challenges and issues they are facing, whatever the reasons there should be zero tolerance levelled towards anyone who bursts out in anger except in certain situations.

Anger, controlled anger, should be undertaken by an individual, only in the event where he can rectify the wrong suffered, but not going to the extent to rant and rage, hurl expletives and threaten or become violent.

Anger should only be expressed to voice out our displeasure when there are offences suffered by us and there is a need to correct the situation but this does not mean that it should be used as a license to go overboard.

Be angry and state your case in order to achieve a desired result, which may be in the form of a sincere apology or a just compensation, and leave it be, be satisfied with this outcome and learn to forgive and forget.
