SportExcel, Malaysia’s leading foundation for junior sports development, has partnered with IT solutions provider CLL Systems to digitize and streamline the management of its junior golf tournaments.
The collaboration marks a significant step forward in improving operational efficiency, data accuracy, and participant engagement across SportExcel’s nationwide junior golf circuit.
The partnership will be showcased during the SportExel – KLGCC International Junior Golf Championship 2025 from 16 to 18 July 2025, where the Golf Management System (GMS) will be fully implemented. The system simplifies every aspect of tournament operations from online registration and payment to live scoring and real-time results verification.
Backed by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the National Sports Council, SportExcel has played a pivotal role in nurturing junior talent across 12 core sports, including golf, for over three decades. This collaboration with CLL Systems addresses the growing logistical complexity of managing tournaments across 10 junior age categories.
“Digitizing our tournaments with the GMS has been a game-changer. It has allowed us to streamline operations, from registration and scheduling to live scoring, so we can focus more on what truly matters: developing our young athletes.
“SportExcel has always focused on giving them the best foundation to succeed, and by integrating technology into our tournaments, we’re creating a modern, professional experience that mirrors the international arena.” said YAM Tunku Tan Sri Imran, Chairman of SportExcel.
CLL Systems, which previously powered the Malaysian International Junior Open 2024, brings deep expertise in delivering custom IT solutions for sports events. The GMS was tailored to SportExcel’s unique needs, including on-site support during initial implementation and dedicated technical assistance.
