If Malaysians are to go by indications over the past decade, they would safely and accurately surmise that there is the presence of thuggery that is obvious in the politics of the nation, which needs to be addressed without any further delay.
There is ample evidence where politicians have spewed racist and hate speeches, where innocent victims have been intimidated and threatened by politicians, and where cases of violence and irrational behaviour have been witnessed by Malaysians.
This improper conduct and behaviour need to be looked into by the relevant authorities and law enforcement agencies, who should be on the job to nip these problems in the bud before it festers and gets out of control.
There are also allegations and accusations, by individuals and organisations, that there are certain Malaysian politicians who are above the law, and believe they can do and say anything they want and be able to get away with it.
This privileged status accorded to these politicians have not gone unnoticed by Malaysians in general and this is why many of them are wondering if double standards and injustice are being practised in this country.
Since this sort of favoritism accorded to them is done so openly and blatantly, Malaysians, especially Netizens who are connected to social media platforms, are asking for a cessation of the thug-like behaviour by politicians.
