Malaysia has so much waste, and to add to this, it has been reported that the nation is a dumping ground for the waste of other countries, which is something that should not be tolerated as it affects the health of people.

Unfortunately, the authorities are not applying proper enforcement and this is why Malaysia suffers from a rising amount of all kinds of waste and it is high time for this issue to be handled seriously by the government.

There are educational campaigns and awareness programs in the country on the right and proper disposal of waste and the commonly given instructions to reduce, reuse and recycle items to ensure less wastage.

But a more effective method is getting Malaysians to realise that there is money to be made by collecting waste and this must be drummed home by the government, relevant organisations and those in the industry of managing waste.

This is an attractive proposal as the money to be made by harnessing all kinds of waste is huge and enormous and those who complain they have no work or activity should be engaged to go about collecting waste to earn a living.

The idea might not sound appealing. But it’s an honest business and if you are not concerned much with the image of dealing in waste then you are most likely to be the right candidate to succeed in this lucrative money spinner.
