Mitsui Outlet Park KLIA Sepang (MOP KLIA), Japan’s premier branded factory outlet shopping mall, is ringing in the 2025 Lunar New Year of the Snake in style. With ‘Blooming Fortune’ as its vibrant festive theme, the mall invites shoppers from all walks of life to celebrate a season filled with new beginnings, prosperity, and happiness.

From now until 12 February 2025, shoppers visiting the mall will be welcomed into a vibrant world of prosperity and joy. The mall’s festive makeover sets the stage for a season of celebration, adorned with dazzling lanterns and blooming spring flowers that mesmerise shoppers while capturing the spirit of Chinese New Year. Visitors can enjoy festive deals, captivating performances, and enticing rewards that enhance the festive experience.

According to Cheah, the mall is offering a series of exhilarating performances and workshops during the Chinese New Year campaign. On the weekend of 18 and 19 January 2025, visitors can enjoy vibrant Lion Dance Performances, complemented by a God of Prosperity walkabout to receive blessings and cheer.

A Chinese Calligraphy Art and CNY Greeting Card Workshop will be available on 25 and 26 January 2025, where shoppers can create personalised festive greetings to take home or add a special touch to their home decorations.

To add to the festive spirit, MOP KLIA will host an exclusive Meet & Greet session with trending influencers D00NUTS and Teen Official on 18 and 19 January 2025. Happening at Sunshine Square on the Ground Floor of the mall, shoppers will also be treated to a special live performance of Chinese New Year songs, celebrating the season through music and a sense of community.

In conjunction with the festive celebration, shoppers spending a minimum of RM300 in a maximum of two receipts at the mall will be eligible to redeem a limited-edition MOP KLIA red packet, symbolising blessings and good fortune. Additionally, those who spend a minimum of RM1,000 or more in up to two receipts can bring home a beautifully designed tiffin carrier. Redemptions can be made at the Information Counter on the Ground Floor of the mall during operating hours.
