Malaysians have indeed come a long way as an independent nation since August 31, 1957 and for these nearly seven decades they have been celebrating unity in diversity among the various races and religions.

Not only is Malaysia multi racial and multi religious, it is also multicultural and this is why many tourists and visitors from abroad like to come and visit the nation which they consider an eye opening and exciting melting pot.

This is why Malaysians must learn to cherish and safeguard these national treasures and savor and enjoy it as the nation is seen as a role model for unity in spite of its diversity and is the envy of other countries.

From cuisines and culinary delights, costumes and fashion wear to housing and accommodation, it is all here in this country for the people of the world to enjoy the friendly hospitality of the people of this country.

There are also fascinating tourist sites, cool blue beaches, cool mountain resorts and a plethora of mix and match holiday destinations that you will never have to feel bored or complain about and the rainy and sunny weather is a welcome respite.

Is Malaysia the world, or is the world Malaysia? This is how one netizen pointed out which gives us food for thought but while the nation does not have everything in the world, it does have bountiful blessings for everyone to enjoy.
