A Kok and Bull-y story
BY: DESMOND JUDE
Now that the controversy over mandatory halal certification for outlets that do not sell pork and alcohol has died down, it might be useful to understand why Seputeh MP, Miss Teresa Kok, raised the matter.
There is an ongoing covert and clandestine operation by the deep state in government wanting to convert non Muslims by dangling the carrot and the use of cunning and sleight.
Malaysia is not an Islamic state. But Malay rights groups, Islamic extremists and other lunatic fringe groups are hell bent to enforce ‘hudud’ laws and turn the nation into an Islamic theocracy.
Malaysian prime minister, Anwar Ibrahim, as the bully, lashed out at Miss Kok by roping in ‘abang’ (the local reference to Malay policemen) to clamp down on her dissent to the suggestion of mandatory halal certification.
For decades this country has been viewed by a growing number of countries that form the international community as a rogue nation with a suspicious democracy.
This is why foreign investors fight shy of the turbulent nature of Malaysian politics to want to channel Foreign Direct Investment and these ongoing Islamisation exercises are the actual cause.
