Music is a universal language
BY: ADDA BEGAM
Music breaks down barriers and helps build bridges as it is a universal language, given to us by the divine, and expanded and extended by nature, and this is why music unites people all over the world.
Capturing the beauty of music in a song or dance is a very meaningful experience that transcends nationality, race, religion, language and all the accidents of birth that divide the human race and music brings about unity and oneness.
This is why a Korean K Pop song or Cantopop or a Hindi hit song can cause reverberations in different communities around the world and though people might not understand the language yet they are held mesmerised and spellbound.
This is the magic of music. It is able to heal the soul, it is able to bring about wellness and goodness, it is able to act as a mood stabilizer and it brings us nothing but good as people listen and enjoy.
Music is therapeutic. It is able to soothe away our fears and worries and calm and relax us throughout the day as people go about their lives and it gives them the necessary boost often missing in food and drinks.
Take time to comfort and placate yourself with an array of music, whether classical, pop, rock or rap or whatever else is to be found in a growing list of music and songs produced from all over the world.
