Ideas for a better education system

While educationsts, teachers, parents and students lament the current dismal state of the education system in the country, it is important not to offer destructive comments but constructive criticism to help develop the education sector.
Education is The Great Equalizer and therefore it is important that everyone gets a good, decent education in the nurseries, kindergartens, schools, colleges and universities in this country to develop themselves holistically.
While it is true that there are quite a number of faults and weaknesses, educators must be sincere and honest in wanting to bring about changes for a better education system so that everyone can benefit.
However, there is stubborn resistance from a number of sectors and segments in the country who oppose education to bring all students forward and to acquire marketable skills that will equip them for a better future.
These oppositionists to change for the better must be convinced and shown why they must change and amend their ways in order to see the big picture of a successful and well grounded and real education for every Malaysian student.
There is no more time to dither and dilly dally but to ensure that changes are implemented in areas of weaknesses and a completely new education policy to be formulated after consultation with all stakeholders.
