Anwar wants Malaysians to be courageous
Malaysian prime minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, wants Malaysians to pluck up courage in the making of changes to help steer the nation in the right direction and not to back down from doing what is good and right for people.
He stated that at this critical juncture in the history of Malaysia, the people must learn to welcome and embrace change especially if it is for the future of this country and the betterment of people.
Anwar commented that change always brings with it conflict and therefore the people must be prepared for a certain amount of discomfort and unease as changes are made in the administration of the nation.
But he added that his government has implemented the Madani concept which encompasses all the needs of Malaysians and this is why Malaysians are encouraged to cooperate with him and his administration to achieve success.
Anwar called on all Malaysians to forget what is past but to remember the history of events that took place so people can be better prepared to look forward to a more viable and promising future for everyone.
He stated there is now a need to focus on what lies ahead and to build the economy and combat corruption at all levels otherwise the future will be bleak and the nation will start to regress if Malaysians are not on guard.
