Both Prime Ministers, Mr Lee Hsien Loong, representing Singapore and Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim of Malaysia declared in a joint statement that transport agencies from both countries have made progress in strengthening links and commuting experiences.
Officials from both countries have also been encouraged to continually exchange ideas to improve efficiency of cross border travel for their people by increasing the frequency of bus services and introducing new ferry services.
