Naico gives support to NIMP2030

The New Industrial Master Plan 2030 or NIMP 2030 which is a bold initiative to economic transformation and innovation has been given the approval by the National Aerospace Industry Corporation Malaysia (Naico).
Naico, which is an agency under the Ministry of International Trade and Industry, in a statement, said the aerospace sector plays an important role in NIMP 2030 and aims to be a driving force behind its growth and development.
Naico stated, through robust funding for research and development, and the creation of a conducive innovation environment, they aim to bolster the aerospace industry’s capabilities in producing cutting edge solutions.
Besides equipping industries with the latest technologies and digital tools, Naico hopes to help the aerospace sector enhance productivity and competitiveness through technological advancements in the industry.
Naico is also committed to ensuring that the aerospace sector contributes to Malaysia’s goal of becoming a net zero carbon emission country by 2050 by introducing technologies to reduce emissions.
The aerospace sector is the cornerstone of NIMP 2030’s vision and aims to secure RM55.2 billion industry revenue upon reaching the year 2030 by attracting further investments and industry partnerships.
