Tamin soy sauce the popular choice

Local soy sauce manufacturer, Tamin Group,has become the popular choice among Malaysians over their 72 years of existence and started by using wood stoves but now uses steam manufacturing.
The group stated that their soy sauce is also fast gaining popularity overseas such as Vietnam where about 2,000 cartons of the company’s Perdana soy sauce, in 330ml and 630ml sizes, are exported.
The Tamin group also revealed that their soy sauce is also exported to Japan and the United Kingdom while their soy sauce mee, sized at 500ml and 2.3kg, is gaining in popularity in Sabah, Sarawak and Brunei.
Other countries the group is interested in exploring as possible markets for their Perdana soy sauce and several other products include Turkiye and Europe with a trade exhibition scheduled in Pakistan..
Tamin group is a renowned bumiputra company that began in 1951 with a capital of Malaysian 10 dollars and their soy sauce was well received and became popular among the locals when two factories were opened in Batu Gajah and Enggor.
The company then diversified its production line to include various products such as chili sauce, tomato sauce, vinegar, tamarind, cordial, toasted grated coconut paste, fermented soybean paste and various soy sauces.
