Malaysian business tycoon and philanthropist, Tan Sri Vincent Tan, is showing the way to others that business is not only about profits but also about giving back to society and making life better for everyone.

Tan Sri Vincent, in his latest win-win venture, is constructing affordable homes for those in the B40 group at the Berjaya Flagship Affordable Homes (BEAH) on prime land in Subang Jaya which is also a Rumah Selangorku initiative.

Tan Sri Vincent stated that he has instructed the developer to absorb the additional RM10 million it costs to provide the 900 sq ft five bedroom, four bathroom condominium units located in Subang Heights.

The project is developed by Berjaya Land Berhad in collaboration with Yayasan My First Home (YMFH) and is a loss making concern as it is expected to be priced at RM250,000 so the B40 group can own and occupy.

There will be 402 units made available and Tan Sri Vincent through YMFH has the overriding concern of providing quality homes and Berjaya Land’s non discounted developments will make up for the loss.

But Tan Sri Vincent stressed that he has limited funds and is urging other big players to step in to help and make the dream of owning a home within the reach of every Malaysian family in the country a reality.
