Fears of the government being toppled
BY: CHRISTOPHER FERNANDEZ
Threats and acts of intimidation are being expressed by disgruntled political parties in the country who have lately been openly voicing that they want to overthrow the government of the day which was pieced together as a loose coalition.
But is it possible? Is it possible for these mischievous politicians who are obviously hell bent on creating a government of their own who have not been given the mandate to govern Malaysians who have voted for the present government.
While the government in power at Putrajaya is not exactly what many Malaysians voted for people are in unison and in agreement that it is the best possible alternative and are cooperating with Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim (DSAI)
The present government is undoubtedly taking infantile steps but there are promising signs over the last five months that they have been in power that most Malaysians are happy and pleased with the government.
Therefore there is no possibility of unseating the present government and, in fact any such move to topple the government is set to backfire as Malaysians are expected to dig deeper and give their full support to DSAI and his cabinet.
Instead of plotting and scheming evil, these mischief makers who want to topple the government for reasons best known to themselves should strive to work together with DSAI and his government and contribute in a meaningful way to the nation.
