Within the span of five months, the Malaysian Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim (DSAI), has possibly saved Malaysia from the brink of collapse or lapse into a failed state by stealthily making critical changes in administering the nation.

While under previous administrations, Malaysia was viewed as a rogue nation by the international community and later considered by a number of analysts as a failed state, under DSAI’s leadership there are remarkable changes.

Refreshing views are being offered by political commentators and economic analysts over Anwar’s careful ploys and strategies to counter the ill effects of decades of poor and weak leadership by different leaders.

Malaysians are now breathing a sigh of relief and appreciating vital respite from DSAI’s changes in the administrative policies of the nation, especially his concern for the poor, marginalized and disadvantaged groups.

While DSAI has a long way to go to finish his term of office, political observers comment that he has already consolidated his hold and grip on power while preparing, in his own way, to face future battles.

DSAI’s foes, critics and the detractors and the less sanguine had better be aware of their strategies and tactics as the Malaysian prime minister is in an uncompromising mood to take the nation forward.
