CLAZ’ROOM COLLEGE CELEBRATES OVER 300 GRADUATES IN CREATIVE MULTIMEDIA ARTS
Claz’room College held its convocation ceremony at Glam Hall Damansara. The College has over 300 young talents graduating. More than 600 graduates, educationists, dignitaries, faculty members, graduating students, as well as their parents and family members, attended the ceremony. The entire event was also streamed live on Facebook for students and family members who were unable to attend in person.
From the class of 2019 to 2022, students graduated from a wide range of creative multimedia fields, including 2D Illustration, 3D Animation, Game Design, and Digital Film Production. Four students received the Claz’room Top Student Awards (CTSA) which recognises top-performing students. The college’s aim is to nurture creative young talents with the necessary soft skills and higher employability. Some of its graduates have already secured employment even prior to this convocation. Claz’room is known for producing students with the skills and qualities that are highly sought-after in the industry. This attracted close to 40 industry players to attend and network with the students immediately following the commencement.
When congratulating the graduating students, Claz’room College’s principal Mr. Jin Min Wong said, “The industry requires you now more than ever, and I am more confident and at ease knowing that Clazroom graduates will continue to be at the forefront of exceptional solutions for the future of our society. I’m grateful that you’ve begun this journey toward this career path in a world where many people are still hesitant to pursue a career in the multimedia industry. Use your knowledge and skills to benefit society and improve the lives of those around you.”
Managing Director Ms. Yan Ning Tung added, “It is such a privilege to bear witness to how these fine young people have grown in confidence, knowledge, kindness and faith and we hope that we have laid the foundations to them becoming an asset to the growth of our nation. Each of you will have your own unique opportunity to grow and I am confident you will rise to every occasion.”
The event was graced by the presence of Mr. Matt Lai, CEO of Asia Tropical Films, who has directed and produced multiple award-winning films, including the recently released Juang (2022). Having collaborations with both local and international studios, Claz’room College graduates are poised to enter the creative arts industry, joining local powerhouses such as Lemon Sky Studios, Virtuous Games, Skyline Interactive Sdn. Bhd. and many others with a track record of participation in numerous internationally renowned titles.
