Ain Husniza fights back after being sued for defamation
Student activist, Ain Husniza, is set to countersue in her pursuit of justice against a local school teacher who made an initial lawsuit against her for defamation.
Ain Husniza Saiful Nizam and her father filed the countersue against Khairul Nizam Sanuddin but also included Education Minister, Selangor Education Director and school principal for not carrying the roles of protecting the child.
Datuk Sankara Nair, the lawyer representing Ain said, “The teacher is still employed by the government, so naturally whatever (alleged) wrong he did, the government is liable on the basis of vicarious liability.”
The public are supporting Ain’s plight and hope that the law settles on a just verdict.
Honey Foo wishes that Ain will be brave and not be intimidated by anyone.
Seeing that is has evolved into a legal battle, Foo advises that she tell every detail and information to her lawyers to have the best chance in court.
Zaid Diaz knows that it is her words against him and senses that it will be a tough legal cat fight.
“The whole class needs to join her. She needs witnesses that can testify for her and provide the evidence she does not have,” he said.
Former deputy education minister Teo Nie Ching has also lump herself in the conversation by stating that the education should had controlled the matter.
“The minister and his team failed to resolve this before it turned into a legal dispute,” she added.
