The Keluarga Malaysia (Malaysian Family) soft launch is to be officiated by the Prime Minister and will be broadcast live on national television with further insights into the concept that forms the central theme of his administration being shared.

Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob first mentioned the concept in his maiden speech as Prime Minister on Aug, 22 this year as he invited Malaysians to set aside their differences and come together to lift the country to greater heights and help realize the 2030 Shared Prosperity Vision.

Keluarga Malaysia is so far known as an inclusive concept that cuts across religious, ethnic and racial boundaries and invites Malaysians to come together as a united family.

The official launch of Keluarga Malaysia is scheduled to take place on Oct 22 this year at Kuching which is known as the city of unity.

Sources say one of the earliest successes of the Keluarga Malaysia concept is the political stability achieved through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Political Stability and Transformation on Sept 13 this year.

The MoU is aimed to bring about a more mature political climate, with politicians working together to contain the Covid-19 pandemic in the interests of Malaysians and the country.
