Following a successful first collaboration last October, Reebok is working with Sony Pictures Consumer Products once again for a footwear and apparel collection inspired by the legendary, spooktastic Ghostbusters franchise in line with the highly anticipated release of the new Ghostbusters: Afterlife film premiering this November.

This time, the pair have worked on an even larger collection that draws elements from the original films and modelled off characters and themes from the series. The footwear collection includes a five model make up consisting of the Ecto Boot, Answer IV, Instapump Fury and an adult and kids version of the Zig Kinetica.

The Ecto Boot takes on a modern interpretation of the 80’s Ghostbusters x Reebok’s OG Pump shoe with abrasion-resistant medial side toe and TPU heel cap, neoprene heel collar and speed lacing system. While the Answer IV is dedicated to the iconic Terror Dogs with glow in the dark outsole, slobber details, red eyelets, representing the glowing eyes of the demonic mutts, and hidden details including nubuck and cracked leather. 

The Instapump Fury features a semi-translucent gel print across the upper to create the look of psycho-reactive slime and the heel clip provides some extra street cred with the text “PROOF OF A GHOSTLY ENCOUNTER.” Finally, the Zig Kinetica, designed to emulate the new latest addition to the franchise’s roster of ghouls Muncher’s ravenous appetite. With a semi-translucent silhouette that glows in the dark, the sockliner features various metal snacks and silver hits throughout the shoe.

The Mini-Pufts versions of the Zig Kinetica Kids are home to a group of little terrors. Boasting a white, red and black colour scheme, these kicks are adorned with Mini-Pufts that can be seen fighting one another, almost to a melting effect while the upper features a white drip that bleeds onto the caution stripe midsole.

Rounding up the collection are two sweatshirts, the first of which is best paired with the Answer IV and the second with the Zig Kinetica. Select pieces from the footwear line come in specialized packaging paying homage to characters and details from Ghostbusters films and Reebok’s historic footwear models.

The Reebok x Ghostbusters collection will be available online via Reebok.com from October 13^th exclusively for Reebok UNLOCKED members before seeing a global release on October 15^th.
