Claims about Malacca state government falling leaves the people angry
Four state assemblymen have claimed that they had withdrawn their support from the Malacca state government resulting in a collapse.
The alleged withdrawal has left citizens frustrated as politicians continue to jump like frogs among parties during a pandemic.
The four are Datuk Seri Idris Haron (UMNO), Datuk Nor Azman Hassan (UMNO), Datuk Noor Effandi Ahmad (Bersatu) and Datuk Norhizam Hassan Baktee (Independent).
The reason for departure was not elaborated but Idris said, “two lions on one mountain.”
The sudden decision has left the people angry as they want unity during these difficult times.
Daniel Ting sees that political jumpers are the country’s enemy.
“Division destroys rather than strengthening the country. How is this going to be dealt with now?” he asked.
MP Azman Hassan acknowledged that 11 opposition members and the four will have an audience with the Yang di-Pertua Negeri Melaka to settle the instability.
Amos Teo warned that the Pakatan Harapan MPs should have some dignity and not join with the other four.
He said that they should not fight it out for the sake of power but unity.
His comment was replied by Sri Bala Murugan David who said, “Eh, I thought there were no more politicking.”
