Why are only bumiputeras receiving entrepreneur scholarship?

Questions are being raised over the 160 bumiputeras who will be receiving an entrepreneur scholarship organised by a government special programme.

The Higher Education Minister Datuk Dr. Noraini Ahmad said bumiputera graduates are to receive management, finance, digital marketing and business advice through the Tube@IPT programme.

She added, “Funds totalling RM 15,000 will be provided for each participant to assist them in starting their business.”

The voice of inequality has been raised by other races in the nation as they claim it’s ‘our’ tax money too.

Instead of providing for one race, a wise government would provide opportunities to all citizens and allow talent to flourish. That would bring up the whole country as a result.

Oscar Ng said that the more you continue to spoon-feed the bumiputeras, the more they will be laidback.

He reminded the government that taxpayers also include the minority races in Malaysia. “We study so hard, work so hard, and our taxes are used to spoon-feed. What a fail government!”

Sivakumar Subramaniam claims that the recent bumiputera agendas are a ploy to win the bumiputera vote for the coming election.

He said, “Same tactic as always, give benefit to the bumis and persuade them to choose Malays-centric parties as it’s the only way to be rich and become a successful businessman like the non-bumis.”

Sivakumar warned that once the election is done, only the rich bumiputras, like politicians, will be prioritised.
