Malaysians: Are teenagers sexually abused or addicted?

Malaysians are questioning if teenagers are sexually abused or addicted after the Royal Malaysian Police revealed that 9 out of 10 teenage girls are addicted to sex.
The survey conducted by the authorities has come under scrutiny after Malaysians claim they are sexually abused.
According to Sexual, Women and Child Investigation Division (D11) assistant director Siti Kamsiah Hassan elaborated those teenagers who first engaged in free sex had become addicted to it.
However, Malaysians want to know the type of questions and who were interviewed for the survey.
Zee Qa Yong doubts that the results were accurate unless people see the responses from those who were interviewed.
He also wondered, “Why are only females being surveyed? Where’s the control group? This information possibly will be used to victim-blame!”
Siti Kamisah mentioned that the teenagers contact people on social media and at times be paid RM 50 for sexual service.
But Dinesh Naraindra suggested that the female victims may have fallen prey to their predators.
He said, “It could not be an addiction but it could be sexual abuse. Since these are teenagers, they are naïve when they meet strangers on social media.”
PDRM explained that cases like this happen due to parents not knowing their child’s whereabouts due to trusting them.
They also added, “It is more troubling if there are individuals who take advantage of them. These teenagers are not properly educated while the parents do not have sufficient knowledge and religious understanding.”
