In his maiden speech as Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri, unveiled the ‘Keluarga Malaysia’ or Malaysian Family concept of bringing Malaysians together as one to power the nation forward in a united way.
This speech was of firebrand quality and the kind that went down well will many Malaysians who have suffered for long for want of inclusiveness, a feature the Prime Minister stressed on by stating that no Malaysian will be left out of the move to progress forward.
Now as Malaysians celebrate Malaysia Day this slogan chant of ‘Keluarga Malaysia’ faces a stern test to see if it can withstand the test of time. Keluarga Malaysia is an awesome program which is in its infancy and only time can tell if it works.
Since the program has already been initiated the rakyat of Malaysia must come together and set aside the differences that divide us to highlight and focus on commonalities so everyone is on the same page.
Keluarga Malaysia underlines a unity theme. It is to foster togetherness as the various races and ethnic groups go about the task of nation building ever since the country has been ravaged by the Covid-19 pandemic.
This is why it is important for every citizen of Malaysia to stay focus on the aims and objectives, the ideals of the Prime Minister to achieve social cohesion and solidarity so that the nation can move on to brighter, better days.
