Aim for a seamless transport system

Although most of the infrastructure for transport is in place yet it has not reached that ultra important stage where it is seamless, connected and interconnected throughout the whole of the nation.

The local transport industry has improved and matured by leaps and bounds over the years and more people are encouraged and motivated to use public transport which is a big step forward in reducing carbon emissions.

Not only is there a large sphere of public transport connectivity in the Klang Valley, which is considered the nucleus of the nation, but outstation or inter-state transport has also vastly improved much to the relief of commuters.

Whether it is e-hailing taxis, public taxis, buses, LRT or MRT trains or the KTM commuter and ERL, Malaysians have a wide choice of comfortable and safe and reliable public transport services to get them to their destinations.

But despite the large improvement, public transport is still yet to be seamless. The relevant authorities must take it upon themselves to connect the missing dots on the map of the Malaysian transport industry.

This is why by Malaysians voicing any shortcoming or grievances they may have in commuting the authorities will be able to take note and act accordingly.

Keep the public feedback and information coming so the Transport Ministry will be made aware and be able to do the needful.
