Double-digit growth for Yenher
The Penang-based Yenher Holdings Bhd, which is categorised as essential services, expects to continue the double-digit growth trend in revenue this year as the group’ s performance is largely unaffected by the movement restriction orders.
It manufactures and distributes animal health and nutrition products as well as value-added diagnostic and material analyses.
Yenher’s two manufacturing plants have been running at strong capacity in recent months although they are operating with 60 percent of their workforce.
Currently, 80 percent of the workforce is back to work in accordance with the lockdown’s standard operating procedures.
Yenher had recently inked a three-year distribution deal worth US$200,000 or RM829,300 annually with a client in Taiwan for livestock bio-tech products developed by them.
The group is also in talks with companies in Indonesia and China for joint ventures and collaborations and hopes to announce ‘some positive news either late this year or early next year’.
Yenher also announced that it is a misconception by prospective investors that the group is an animal feed miller.
They actually supply premixes and formulated products to the animal feed millers who make up about 80 percent of their clients.
The premixes are a mixture of vitamins, minerals, amino acid, anti-fungus, anti-oxidant, pro and prebiotic and other nutritional additives.
