KLCC food court closure brings out the memories of Malaysians
The latest closure of the RASA Food Arena in Suria KLCC had brought out the memories of Malaysians across social media.
In a statement released by the food court, they said it was with great sadness that they announce the permanent closure of RASA Food Arena from September 1.
They thank customers for their patronage for 22 years and it was a pleasure to serve.
Twitter users were quick to react on the closure.
@Missyfeemisfit said, “I used to eat here with my parents and friends few years back. Although not very often but it makes me feel nostalgic. Food was pricey but the memories are priceless.”
@Ooomil also posted if during that week he didn’t return to his hometown, he would surely be there to eat.
He added that it was the place to eat after shopping in the mall, “Goodbye RASA Food Arena and thank you for all the memories.”
With the prolonged lockdown due to the pandemic, businesses are facing the daunting move to close down.
The Ministry of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives predicts that 580,000 businesses, representing 49 per cent Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), will face closure by October this year.
