In the relatively short span of time since he became the King, His Majesty the YDPA has become much sought-after to settle matters and affairs affecting the country because he is seen as an erudite and learned person possessing wise counsel.

Most Malaysians have a healthy respect for His Majesty the YDPA and regard him in high esteem since he is a chip of the old block, his father the late Sultan Ahmad Shah, who was renowned for doing so much for Malaysians.

In the current impasse, where the nation of Malaysia is looking for a suitable candidate to be PM, Malaysians have once again placed their faith and trust by choosing His Majesty the YDPA to be the power broker.

But His Majesty the YDPA is not alone in this task. Soon Istana Negara will be surrounded by his brother rulers as the royalty of Malaysia display their power as being the final step in this crisis for the selection of a prime minister.

Come Friday, His Majesty the YDPA and his brother rulers will deliberate and decide before casting the die on who is to replace Muhyiddin Yassin who is now the Caretaker Prime Minister of Malaysia.

Whatever the outcome and whoever they choose to be PM may the candidate be amicably appointed and politicians of all stripes close ranks and urgently and quickly get down to the business of solving the Covid-19 pandemic and see to the reopening of the economy.
