Singer Poki Ng Accused Of Being The ‘Kris Wu of Hong Kong’ For Drugging And Raping Women
A brand new day, and another artist has been accused of despicable actions towards women. This time the focus is on Hong Kong singer and member of boyband Error Poki Ng who is currently being accused of drugging and raping several women, according to allegations made by fellow Hong Kong singer TL Hon, who used to be good friends with Ng.
On Friday, August 13th, Hon revealed in a series of Instagram Stories stating “a member of a Hong Kong band is suspected of drugging and raping women” and that should they fail to make an apology, “all the victims will accept media interviews and then make police reports,” claiming in his post that seven women were prepared to come forward to testify against him.
The 29-year-old Hon tagged the 30-year-old Ng’s Instagram account, adding: “There is no need to sue me for defamation, because I have hard evidence that will see you become Hong Kong’s Kris Wu.”
“If you do not publicly apologise to these seven women, be prepared to retire from show business,” Hon added.
Hon also posted Instagram Stories on Saturday, August 14th, of accounts from women who claimed to have had encounters with Ng.
“My company has asked me to keep quiet, but there are still many things to be revealed.”
An alleged victim of Kris Wu came forward on social media last month, accusing the 30-year-old star of luring her with promises of show business offers, plying her with alcohol and then proceeding to take advantage of her while she was unconscious. Since the news broke, more than 20 women have come forward with their own claims, accusing Wu of similar acts. The Canadian-born singer was formally arrested for rape charges by Chinese police on Monday, August 16th.
Ng has yet to respond to the allegations.
