Hopping politicians leave Malaysians crestfallen
There must be anti-hopping laws to prevent politicians from hopping across to political parties that dangle the carrot at them as Malaysians are livid with anger and rage at the antics of a number of elected representatives.
It looks like there’s a lot of horse trading going on and despite being voted and elected by the people there are politicians who are willing to sell their souls for a sum of money.
This is what Malaysians are witnessing where Members of Parliament are willing to defect for a price.
These politicians can be bought for a certain amount of money and are not interested in serving the people. Like frogs they jump from one political party to another and they are self-seeking, self-serving individuals.
Malaysians of all walks of life have every right to be unhappy and worried, fearing the worst for the future of our country as money politics rears its ugly head while record numbers are dying due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Over ten thousand Malaysians have lost their lives battling the coronavirus so far and the death toll keeps rising while politicians display their greed and lust not just for power but for wealth. This is a real crying shame.
Not only is the blood of Malaysians boiling with anger and rage, this shallow, immature behavior by our politicians must stop as all their recovery plans, recovery councils, SOPs and MCOs and lockdown have failed because they cannot get their act together.
Malaysians are really in a grip of a vicious cycle where the future looks bleak with disease, death, hunger and poverty. It is high time that the heads of these politicians roll and the rakyat look for untainted, unselfish and accommodating politicians.
