Overcoming Covid-19 challenges with lifestyle changes
OLEH: CHRISTOPHER FERNANDEZ
Now that there is more awareness of the Covid-19 challenges and the fact that it will take some time to subside it is better for us to come to grips with the prevailing realities and overcome all the negativity by merely making a number of changes to our lifestyle.
If we do nothing, nothing happens but when we do something there is an outcome and by doing positive things the outcome will also be positive and this is why there is a need for us to evaluate our lifestyle and how it tallies with the pandemic.
Change has come. There is no point in looking into the past and yearn for the good old days. Now it’s the new normal and a weakening economy which is witnessing our traditional means of employment shrinking or no longer there.
Learn to adapt. Try getting on to the gig economy. Change the mindset and try to experiment and do things differently with the hope that you will be successful and happy. Think outside the box and you will be surprised and what successful ideas you can come up with to prosper.
Get innovative or get dead. The survival factor for this Covid-19 pandemic is to improvise and change how things used to be done like going to the office and putting in a hard day’s work. Now the trend is to work from home.
While working from home might not be very motivating, you’ll be surprised at what wonders you can do by going online to the Internet where the bulk of business is now being conducted and it’s all within the click of a button.
On the surface level, Covid-19 might seem like a dark episode but there are treasures in this darkness if only we look in the right direction and change our perspective of life in the new norm. Don’t let a tiny virus, however deadly, destroy the joy and meaning and purpose of life.
